Several days back I mentioned that one of the benefits to writing this blog and editorials for the print media as well as pieces for online content is that occasionally I get to write for other people.  I also mentioned that I was absent from posting on the blog due to a project that I was working on.  The new news is that this project is in the process of blossoming into a possible career move for me.  Although I cannot divulge the nature of this new path my writing career has taken I will tell you that this path leads to the same end.  Therefore, I am announcing that I will be taking some significant time off from the blog to cultivate this new endeavor and hope that I can return soon to let you all know exactly what I am talking about.

In my absence I would encourage you to continue to click through the site and read some of the work from the past as well as visit the sites that I link to.  American Thinker is a wonderful site for conservative thought.  Dennis Miller is worth a tumble because he is absolutely brilliant and you all remember Kevin Grover, he once was a regular contributor to this blog but then decided to take the leap and do his own thing.  Kevin is a talented writer with fresh insight and a rational approach to dispensing common sense, something that is lacking today.

I will keep you all posted so don't forget to check back from time to time.  So until we meet again, may God continue to bless each and every one of you, may his grace continue to shine down on this great nation and as you live your life please remember those brave men and women who wear the uniforms of the military, those brave men and women who strap it all on so you can continue to live free, protected and unafraid.
