E.L. Burton and his wife Kelly currently reside in San Antonio Texas. Diagnosed with a rare degenerative eye disease and the prognosis of eventual blindness, he left the confines of corporate America to pursue his dream of becoming an author. Trading in his shirt and tie for a laptop and a pair of shorts he wrote his first novel titled "$oft Money" which was inspired by the debates over the need for campaign finance reform. He has written many editorials and was a frequent contributor to the Tribune Newspaper during his time in Arizona. You can find his daily rants on politics and life at www.elburton.com/blog.

His second novel has been completed and is awaiting publication. It is a fictional novel that centers on the recent random acts of violence and the debate over the need for additional gun control measures. His third novel is in the research phase.
